Shopi Seller Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Shopi as a seller. By listing products or services on Shopi, you agree to comply with the following terms:

1. Marketplace Nature

Shopi is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. Shopi does not act as a payment processor or intermediary for transactions. All transactions and arrangements are made directly between the buyer and the seller.

2. Seller Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, clear, and honest product descriptions and pricing.
  • Deliver items or services as described and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all products comply with Kenyan laws and health & safety regulations.
  • Respond to buyer inquiries and resolve disputes professionally.

3. Prohibited Items

You are not allowed to list counterfeit, illegal, expired, or hazardous items. Any violation may result in removal of your listings or a permanent ban.

4. No Commission Model

Shopi does not take commission or fees on your sales. However, we may introduce premium listing features or promotional tools in the future, which are optional.

5. Safety and Trust

To maintain a safe marketplace, sellers are expected to verify their identity and maintain high standards. We encourage all sellers to read our Safety Tips to ensure a smooth experience.

6. Content & Listings

  • Do not use misleading photos or titles.
  • Do not spam categories or keywords.
  • Ensure photos are clear and represent the real item.
  • Shopi reserves the right to edit, hide, or remove any listing that violates our guidelines.

7. Termination

Shopi reserves the right to suspend or remove your account if you breach these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unethical behavior.

8. Updates

We may update these terms occasionally. It is your responsibility to review them regularly. Continued use of Shopi means you accept the updated terms.
